Chris has worked across five continents and nine industries as an operating partner to companies seeking to create significant enterprise value by capitalizing on shifting competitive landscapes, deploying technologies and analytics which transform industries, and architecting innovative revenue and operational models to unlock new sources of financial value.

His roles have included acting or interim CEO of three technology companies, CEO of an international corporate development/M&A firm, and senior director of both managed services and new venture development for a global management consulting firm. He is the author of The Craft (2019), a playbook for CEOs seeking to lead, manage and negotiate their way to creating exponential financial value in the companies they lead. He frequently speaks and leads executive roundtables on the topics of innovation, value creation and leadership.

Chris was previously the acting CEO of a direct-to-consumer (DTC) delivery platform for the pharmaceutical industry. He is co-founder of a Silicon Valley venture which leverages blockchain technologies and advanced analytics to manage $500B in annual spend in the U.S. retail/CPG sector. He is on the board of directors of Atlas Organics, the leading company used by municipalities to manage organic waste, and The Climate Service, a leading climate risk analytics company. He was previously the CEO of Health Access Solutions, Inc., an integrated care and population health company, leading its corporate spin-out from a $100M managed care provider and capitalization by Anthem, Inc., the nation’s largest healthcare insurer. ​

Prior to that, Chris was managing director of Mailander PLLC, an international M&A and corporate development firm managing buy-side investment activities for international private equity investors in over 30 countries. Additionally, he managed a number of international public-private economic development initiatives involving the U.S. Government and foreign governments. As senior director for managed services at BearingPoint, Chris led its development of new market offerings pertaining to application services and business process outsourcing. As senior director for new venture development at KPMG Consulting, Inc., he oversaw its development of SaaS-based payment and security solutions.

Chris earned his advanced legal degree with honors from Georgetown University Law Center. He is a husband and father to two active teenagers, a global traveler and Crossfit junkie.
